Addiction Risk Awareness Program

This program is part of Kingsons Foundation’s efforts toward comprehensive community development. It aims to protect children, adolescents, and youth from behavioral and health risks that may lead to addiction—through early awareness and strengthening community understanding. The program focuses on prevention as the first line of defense, working closely with younger age groups within educational settings to build awareness and promote safer behaviors that support long-term well-being.

Why This Program?
Community studies indicate that exposure to behavioral risks can begin at an early age—especially under social and economic pressures, combined with limited awareness. In response, the program was designed to: Raise awareness among children and youth about the risks of addiction Promote positive behaviors and healthy choices Strengthen the role of schools and communities in early prevention Reduce the long-term health and social risks associated with addiction

Partnerships & Implementation

  • The program is implemented in collaboration with educational institutions،
  • particularly local education authorities—ensuring structured access to schools and the effective delivery of awareness activities.
  • These partnerships reflect the foundation’s commitment to institutional collaboration and coordination with stakeholders focused on child and youth protection.

Achieved Impact

  • Raising students’ awareness of the risks of addiction
  • Promoting positive behaviors within school environments
  • Strengthening the role of schools in prevention and guidance
  • Creating early channels for dialogue with children around behavioral and health-related issues.
Target Group

Preparatory School Students

The program targets students in preparatory (middle) school, along with children and adolescents in local communities—especially in underserved villages and areas. Schools are selected based on community studies and identified needs to ensure the program reaches those who need it most.
